MEP Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Construction) to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental during the early project stages—focusing on budgeting, cost planning, and tender analysis for MEP works. You will work closely with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with project specifications from the start.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems

• Prepare pre-tender and tender stage cost plans, including value engineering proposals

• Review and validate MEP consultant designs and BOQs for alignment with budgets

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP costing in overall project planning

• Provide cost impact analyses for design changes during pre-construction

• Evaluate MEP contractor/supplier proposals and support procurement negotiations

• Assist in creating MEP budgeting strategies for multiple sites or phases

• Support timeline development for MEP pre-construction deliverables

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying with focus on pre-construction phases

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, local material costs, and construction practices in Indonesia

• Proficient in cost estimation software and Excel-based BOQ modeling

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills

• Experience working on hospitality or mixed-use developments preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
