Operations Supervisor

What youll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse, storage and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

• Monitor inventory levels, identify any discrepancies and implement appropriate measures to maintain optimal stock levels

• Oversee the loading and unloading of units, ensuring all goods are properly handled and transported

• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

• Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks, taking prompt corrective action as necessary

• Provide training and support to warehouse, storage and distribution staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and information sharing

• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on key performance metrics

What were looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar operations supervisory role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

• Strong understanding of warehousing, storage and distribution best practices and technologies

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills

• Proficient in inventory management, stock control and performance reporting

• Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide training and support, and foster a positive work environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
