Job Role
The Business Development Manager – CPaaS & Cloud Communications is responsible for driving enterprise customer acquisition and strategic commercial expansion across the Middle East and Asian business ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying high-volume communication requirements, particularly within SMS verification, marketing messaging, and cloud communication infrastructure solutions.
Operating within a fast-moving international technology environment, the Posisi requires a highly independent and commercially aggressive professional capable of building relationships across gaming platforms, payment providers, cloud vendors, and technical service ecosystems. The role will manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation and market penetration to negotiation, onboarding, and long-term account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop high-potential enterprise clients through exhibitions, industry events, LinkedIn, Telegram, and professional business channels.
Build and maintain structured databases of strategic accounts, including gaming operators, payment gateways, cloud vendors, and technical solution providers.
Develop strong commercial relationships within the gaming, fintech, cloud communications, and digital platform ecosystems.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to design customized CPaaS and messaging solutions based on client operational requirements.
Conduct high-level commercial negotiations and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution.
Develop pricing strategies and tailored business proposals based on traffic volume, routing requirements, and regional communication demands.
Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and emerging communication technologies within the CPaaS industry.
Provide regular business pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and strategic market insights to regional leadership.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Commercial functions.
At least 3 years of direct exposure within CPaaS, cloud communications, gaming ecosystems, fintech, payment gateways, or telecom technology industries.
Existing business networks within gaming operators, payment service providers, cloud vendors, technical platforms, or communication aggregators is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of SMS verification services, bulk messaging infrastructure, routing systems, delivery rates, and communication workflows.
Ability to develop pricing structures and customized enterprise communication packages.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial presentation capabilities.
Highly independent, target-oriented, and comfortable operating within a high-growth multinational environment.
Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (Chinese).
