Duty Manager
Nirvana is a leading wellness and lifestyle destination dedicated to creating transformative experiences through fitness, holistic wellness, and curated events. We are expanding and seeking a passionate and highly responsible Duty Manager to help oversee daily operations and ensure a seamless guest and member experience.
The Duty Manager acts as the key point of contact during operational hours and is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, team coordination, service excellence, and rapid issue resolution. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset to maintain Nirvana’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Supervise day-to-day club or facility operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensure all departments (front desk, F&B, housekeeping, wellness, fitness, etc.) are functioning optimally.
- Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, equipment functionality, and readiness of spaces.
- Ensure SOPs are followed and escalate when deviations are noted.
Guest Experience
- Be present on the floor to welcome and assist members, guests, and VIPs.
- Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and speed.
- Ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
Team Leadership
- Brief team members at shift start and debrief at end of shift.
- Guide and support operational team members; act as team lead when the Manager is off-site.
- Ensure inter-departmental communication flows smoothly.
Incident & Crisis Management
- Handle any incidents (guest injury, security issue, facility breakdown) following Nirvana protocols.
- Complete incident reports and ensure follow-up.
Reporting & Communication
- Report daily issues, feedback, and operational highlights to the Club Manager.
- Maintain a duty log for internal reference and handover.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or operational leadership role, preferably in hospitality, wellness, or fitness industries.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Problem-solving mindset and calm under pressure.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using POS, scheduling, and reporting systems.
Preferred Qualities
- Background in luxury hospitality or wellness resorts.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Passion for wellness, fitness, or personal development.
Working Hours
- Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
