Job Purpose:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless procurement, inventory optimization, cost efficiency, and alignment with production goals. You’ll lead a talented team and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Materials Planning, Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Demand-Driven Planning: Collaborate with production, sales, and product management teams to align schedules with materials demand forecasts.

• Cost Efficiency: Negotiate operational terms (MOQs, payment), optimize logistics/duties to reduce total material costs and to avoid excess stocks.

• Ensure material availability to meet production timelines and customer commitments.

• Please handle rejected materials in collaboration with Supplier Quality, ensuring timely replacement or compensation.

• Optimize lead times and capacity planning for agile response to market changes.

• Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, compliance) and resolve issues proactively.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Optimization

• Implement inventory strategies to balance stock levels with production demand.

• Optimize warehouse layout for space efficiency and safety compliance.

• Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure 98%+ inventory accuracy.

• Manage obsolete/slow-moving inventory through effective disPosisi plans.

• Improve the process by digitalization (convert manual tabulations to the existing systems or simplified more efficient working method)

3. Cost Control & Budget Oversight

• Analyze procurement, warehousing, and logistics costs to identify savings opportunities.

• Develop and manage budgets, tracking variances and implementing corrective actions.

• Lead lean initiatives and process improvements to reduce waste.

4. Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and lead a team of purchasing, planners, and warehouse staff.

• Foster a culture of accountability through goal-setting, training, and performance reviews.

5. Compliance & Risk Mitigation

• Ensure adherence to local/international regulations and ESG standards.

• Oversee seamless importation, including customs and logistics compliance,

• Develop risk mitigation strategies (geopolitical, supply disruptions) and contingency plans.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive adoption of ERP systems, Supply Chain system and digital tools for enhanced supply chain visibility.

• Champion sustainability initiatives and Kaizen continues participation.

• Benchmark industry best practices to elevate operational agility.

• Be prepared to travel to other Esco entities for work collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or certifications (APICS/CSCP) preferred.

• 5-10 years in manufacturing supply chain management, including 3+ years in leadership.

Skills:

• Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP or similar system)

• Competence in Supply Chain Management Software (e.g., Slimstock, Kinaxis or similar system) is highly beneficial.

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Proven success in cost reduction and lean methodologies.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage but not a requirement.

• Leads with integrity and transparency, serving as a role model for ethical, fair, and compliant practices with no compromise on honesty or objectivity.
